Zoytek was founded in 2014 by Mechanical Engineer Alan Quinn. Initially the brand was used for developing and publishing apps and software.
Zoytek relaunched in 2020 as proprietary engineering design and development business. Building on two decades of product development experience, Zoytek designs and develops a range of in-house products and technologies such as the Minimillr Desktop CNC Mill.
We work in all areas of mechanical design, especially robot end of arm tooling (EOAT), robot infeed and outfeeds, and injected moulded components and electronic enclosures. We can also design custom jigs and fixtures, welded fabrications, sheet metal and CNC turned and milled parts and all kinds of electro-mechanical assemblies from robot hands for custom CNC machines.
In addition to our design service, we also provide consulting services in Automation Feasibly, Design for Manufacture, and Design for Assembly, Risk Assessment of Mechanical Designs, proof of concept prototypes and patent drawing preparation. We can advise on how best to automate a production process while offering impartial advice on what is realistic and feasible.
We work across a wide range of industry sectors including robotics, consumer electronics and food manufacturing. Our experience and skills cover multiple engineering disciplines including electro-mechanical design, electronics, software, firmware, robotics and project management. With broad research and development experience across multiple industries, we add value through engineering innovation and creative problem solving.
